I recently took every single item out of my closet. With the beginning of summer, I felt a need to purge that which didn’t fit my current style and season of life. The pair of jeans from college a few sizes too small. The black skirt suit collecting dust. The nursing tops I don’t plan to use again. After I filled four boxes with clothes to be donated or thrown away, I gazed at my now much emptier closet. Magna-tiles are the most played with toy in our home. They are also the most likely to cause a sibling squabble. 3 years. I often wake up with a thousand thoughts racing through my mind. Only minutes after coming to my time with the Lord, I’m already distracted by worries and tasks. I used to feel ashamed by my wandering heart or to try and pretend they weren’t there.
